The Problem
dancunning.com had gone quiet. Its black-and-white design was deliberately spare, but the writing no longer reflected what I was doing. I kept building projects without writing about them, and only kept writing my entertainment recommendations.
The Solution
The new site is built around three verbs: explore, learn, build. They remind me to share what I’m curious about and what I’m making, even when the ideas are still taking shape.
The visual style follows that thought: pencil marks, a notebook, and room for imperfection. I organize my writing around five interests, each with its own color inspired by Trivial Pursuit.
